General information about the conference

The 7th International Conference of the French Association of Experimental Economics  (ASFEE), will be organized by the ESSEC Business School (Cergy-Paris, France), on June 9-10, 2016 (Download the call for papers).

The conference aims to provide an opportunity for researchers in experimental and behavioral economics to present their latest results from lab experiments, framed and randomized field experiments. It covers all topics related to behavioral and experimental economics and decision theory, neuro-economics, economic psychology, among others. Theoretical papers explicitly dealing with experimental/behavioral issues are also welcome.

The 2016 distinguished keynote speakers are Professors Rachel Croson and Simon Gaechter.

The 2015 Conference in Paris attracted about 140 scholars from many countries.

The Conference will take place at the ESSEC Business School, in Cergy-Pontoise. The School is located 30 km West of Paris (direct connection through RER A, or by Highway A15). Lunches will be provided on the Campus. A special event – Dinner at the Chateau d’Auvers sur Oise in the Impressionists’ County – is scheduled for the Thursday evening. Organizers recommend to participants to book their room in Cergy hotels. Commuting with Paris is feasible, but is not always efficient.

The Conference benefits from the support of the ESSEC Research Center, the THEMA (UMR CNRS) Research Center, the LABEX MME-DII
